Caucasian with Persian affinities, this 4'3" x 5'10" splendid example of the rare blending of NW Persian with southern Caucasian motifs fits in with any modern decor. Soft tones of burgundy, creams, rust and gold combine to please the eye and calm the spirit. Six highly stylized roses covering the field are reminiscent of Maltese crosses and evoke an unusual Byzantine/Russian essence to this rarity. Circa mid 20th century. 100% Wool Hand Knotted
